I’m Himanshu Saini, a Network & Security Engineer with over 16 years of experience building and securing Enterprise IT Infrastructure — including more than 10 years focused specifically on Network Design, Implementation, Security Operations and Policy Implementation.
My work has taken me from Fortune 500 data centers to the engine rooms of Cruise Ships. I currently serve as Principal Engineer supporting Carnival Cruise Line’s global brands — Holland America Line, Seabourn, Carnival UK, and Cunard Line — Managing Shipboard and Shoreside Networks that have to work flawlessly, every time, with no room for downtime.

Along the way I’ve led international onsite deployments during dry dock operations, migrated thousands of network devices for banking and logistics clients, and supported 10+ Fortune 500 organizations through complex infrastructure changes — all under strict ITIL change-management discipline.
Technology alone isn’t enough in today’s environment, which is why I paired my engineering Experience with an M.Com and an LL.M in Cyber Law — giving me a working understanding of compliance, governance, and risk that most pure technologists don’t have.
On the technical side, I focus on two things that increasingly go hand in hand: network automation and cybersecurity. I use Python and AI-assisted tools to reduce manual configuration work and speed up deployments across large device fleets, and I administer firewall security end-to-end — Palo Alto Panorama policy enforcement, Aruba ClearPass access control, and GlobalProtect VPN — to keep enterprise and shipboard networks both efficient and secure. My CCNA-Automation and PCNSE certifications, backed by the legal grounding from my LL.M in Cyber Law, let me approach network design from both the engineering and the risk/compliance side.
Outside my core engineering work, I’ve also built practical knowledge of AI-powered digital marketing tools — I use it for things like content strategy and SEO, including managing this website’s own online presence.
